Brochette can be a small skewer or spit used to broil or roast meat, fish, or vegetables, or it can refer to the food itself that is roasted.
Demitasse is either a small cup of strong black coffee or espresso or the small cup used to serve this drink.
Vichyssoise is a creamy potato and leek soup, served cold.
Bouillon is a clear thin broth made typically by simmering beef or chicken in water with seasonings.
Consomme is also a clear broth made from simmering meats and/or vegetables. It is clearer, and is sometimes served chilled and gelled.
