Should I go to Culinary or San Jose State?
ReDBeaN asked:
I love food. I like cooking it, i like thinking about it, i like eating it. Im not a very academic person and im lazy BUT i get good grades and i CAN study hard. Im interested in French and i want to study abroad. Culinary wont let me do that. State will. I want to learn french so that i can better my cooking experience if i go to france. Should I take four years to get a degree in hospitality and management and minor in french and then come out and take two years of culinary? will i be too old? .. eveyrone will be cooking before me.. =/ and if i go straight to culinary ill be happy but.. ill think always what wouldve happened if i got a degree… help T..T im getting a migrane

If you love food, and more specifically making it, then go for culinary. If you like the facilities at San Jose State, then go there. If you have a raw passion for it, do it!
As for learning French - look up private lessons, or maybe your school offers a weekend course that you can enroll in for not a whole lot of money. Or, you can shell out the cash for something like Rosetta Stone software and learn the language yourself on your own time.
Good luck.
go to culinary school the go to state. That way you will have a job to help put you through school.
I agree with Pimpin, Culinary then State
